On May 18, 2024, Dion R. Smith, a 21-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, succumbed to his injuries following a shooting incident. The incident occurred in the 4400 block of Taylor Boulevard, where Louisville Metro Police Department's (LMPD) Fourth Division responded to a call for service reporting a shooting at a business location.
