In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of Jamila L. Jackson, a 45-year-old Black female, was tragically cut short. On June 2, 2024, in what should have been a peaceful night, gunfire erupted in the 3100 block of St. Anthony Gardens Drive, forever altering the lives of those involved.
