On a tragic evening in Pleasureville, Kentucky, the life of 56-year-old Heather Beth Simmons was cut short in an act of violence that also claimed the life of her daughter. On Friday, June 21, 2024, deputies from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office responded to a distressing call about a shooting at a residence on Pleasureville Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered two women who had sustained gunshot wounds.
