In the early hours of a Saturday in June, a night of entertainment in Louisville, Kentucky, turned into a scene of tragedy. Joseph D. Bowers, a 40-year-old man, was fatally shot in a mass shooting outside the H2O nightclub. Seven other people were also injured in the incident which occurred just before 1 a.m. on June 22, 2024.
