Dawone Cortez Howard, a 22-year-old resident of Owensboro, Kentucky, tragically passed away on August 14, 2024. The incident occurred at an apartment in the 4300 block of Gateway Drive in east Daviess County. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), the fatal event was reported via a 911 call received by Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch at approximately 10:07 p.m. on the same day.
