In the early hours of a Monday in August, the quiet of the Fairdale neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call just after midnight on August 26, 2024, Louisville Metro Police arrived at the 500 block of Glengarry Drive to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
