On the evening of September 9, 2024, in the quiet Chalybeate community of Edmonson County, Kentucky, the life of 43-year-old Christopher W. Helson came to an untimely end. A White/Caucasian man from Smiths Grove, he was found deceased at his residence on Timberwood Drive. The Kentucky State Police were called to the scene at approximately 7:30 p.m., where the Edmonson County Coroner officially pronounced Helson dead.
