On April 5, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Northeast Portland, Oregon, resulting in the deaths of 27-year-old Deja Willingham and 30-year-old Marcel Bryant. The incident was reported to the police at approximately 9:15 p.m. following reports of gunfire in the area near Northeast 22nd Avenue and Northeast Lombard Street.
