In the early morning hours of May 28, 1997, a tragic event unfolded in Portland, Oregon, that cut short the life of 34-year-old Wendy Kay Lim, a Caucasian female. The night was like any other, as Lim rode as the front passenger in a car driven by an associate. They were navigating the streets near the intersection of North Webster and North Albina Street when they decided to pull over.
