On June 4, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at Mega Foods, a grocery store located at 1542 Mount Hood Avenue in Woodburn, Oregon. The victim, identified as Noel Orozco Romero, a 39-year-old local resident, was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the afternoon around 4:00 p.m..
