On June 27, 2016, a tragic incident occurred near Woodburn, Oregon, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including Edmundo Amaro-Bajonero, who was 26 years old at the time of his death. The other victims were identified as Ruben Rigoberto-Reyes, a 60-year-old man, and Katie 'Katalina' Gildersleeve, a 30-year-old woman from Logsden.
