In the Lloyd District of Portland, Oregon, a life was tragically cut short on the evening of Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Anthony J. Garland, a 44-year-old White male, was fatally shot near Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast 6th Avenue. North Precinct officers responded to reports of the shooting at approximately 5:30 p.m. and discovered Garland deceased at the scene.
