In the late hours of a summer evening, the life of Daniel Joseph Romero, a 21-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. On July 17, 2023, in Springfield, Massachusetts, what began as a normal night ended in violence. At approximately 10:45 p.m., police responded to reports and found Romero shot inside a car at Marengo Park. It is believed the shooting actually took place on Belmont Avenue.
