On September 22, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Brockton, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Jason Benson Green. The shooting took place around 3:23 p.m. at a residence on Lynn Road, just a few doors down from Jason's home. Brockton police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot in the chest and found Jason, who had been shot. Despite lifesaving measures performed by police and paramedics, Jason was pronounced dead at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
