On January 1, 2023, Anthony Holdbrook, a resident of Lafayette, Indiana, was found with a gunshot wound in the 800 block of North 7th Street. The incident occurred shortly before midnight, around 11:50 p.m., when Lafayette police responded to a report of a shooting.
