Death by Force

On January 25, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Gary, Indiana, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Daqwuan Walker. Walker, who resided on Chase Street in Gary, was found shot to death outside his home. The Gary police responded to a call in the 500 block of Chase Street around 7:40 a.m. after reports of a gunshot victim and shots fired in the nearby 500 block of Taney Place.
