In the early morning hours of January 25, 2023, the life of 23-year-old Daqwuan Walker, a male resident of Gary, Indiana, was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of gunfire around 7:40 a.m., Gary police discovered Walker outside a home on Chase Street with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
