On April 19, 2023, Randy Darrell Hinkle, a 34-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was fatally shot in the 2300 block of Beckwith Drive, specifically at the New Bridge Apartments in the Martindale-Brightwood area. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. when Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) crews responded to a report of shots fired.
