On May 9, 2023, Kiera Erin Zepke, a 20-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was fatally shot in the 1300 block of Lillie Street. The incident occurred late in the evening, around 11:38 PM, when several people called 911 to report hearing gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, police officers found Kiera Zepke, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
