In the autumn of 1980, the life of 18-year-old Valeria Boyd was tragically cut short in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A young woman with her future ahead of her, Valeria was reported missing by her family in late October. The search for her ended in heartbreak on November 4, 1980, when her body was discovered in a field in rural Allen County. For nearly four decades, the question of what happened to Valeria Boyd remained unanswered, her case growing cold as years turned into decades.
