In the late summer of 2023, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Gary, Indiana, leading to the untimely death of 5-year-old Edan Oliver Johnson. The young boy was visiting relatives at a home in the 2400 block of Filmore Street on August 30th when the tragedy occurred. Also present at the residence was a 17-year-old girl and a 32-year-old man, both visiting from Chicago.
