On the evening of December 23, 2023, in a residential neighborhood on the west side of Indianapolis, the life of Matthew Lee Kelley, a 43-year-old White/Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Lansdowne Road around 7:00 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Matthew Kelley suffering from critical gunshot wounds.
