On January 13, 2024, a 25-year-old man named Kason Dixon died after arriving at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis with gunshot wounds. The incident was reported early Saturday morning, with police being called to the hospital located at 1500 N. Ritter Avenue around 1 a.m..
