Byron Keith Curry, a 48-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on March 7, 2024, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On that Thursday afternoon, at approximately 4:23 PM, Fort Wayne Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Hugh Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Curry suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving measures attempted at the scene, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
