On April 1, 2024, in Crown Point, Indiana, 66-year-old Sharon Colleen Bell was found deceased alongside her husband, 70-year-old Benny Bell, in their residence on the 1300 block of Glenn Drive. Authorities determined that Benny Bell fatally shot Sharon before taking his own life, ruling her death a homicide and his a suicide.
