On April 16, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Rolland Manor Apartments, located near 20th Street and Ritter Avenue on the city's east side. Upon arrival, officers discovered three men with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims, identified by the Marion County Coroner’s Office as 38-year-old Michael A.
