In the pre-dawn hours of April 16, 2024, violence shattered the quiet of an Indianapolis apartment complex, leaving two men dead and another fighting for his life. Responding to reports of a shooting at the Rolland Manor Apartments shortly after 1 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers discovered a grim scene. Inside one of the units, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was identified as Michael A. Beck Jr., a 38-year-old Black male.
