On August 4, 2024, 23-year-old Kevion K. Mann of Evansville, Indiana, lost his life due to gun violence. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Southeast Martin Luther King Boulevard, where officers were dispatched at 3:00 p.m. in response to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim, later identified as Kevion K. Mann, with at least one gunshot wound. Mann was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
