On June 23, 2023, 19-year-old Derrick Dillon from Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot at Scene75, an entertainment center located at 460 Weber Road in Romeoville, Illinois. The incident occurred after 10 p.m. and stemmed from an argument that took place outside the venue. During the altercation, another 16-year-old was also shot and wounded.
