On July 25, 2023, 19-year-old Terrance Foster was fatally shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred just steps from Foster's grandmother's home, located in the 1600 block of South Karlov Avenue. According to Cook County prosecutors, Foster was riding his bike to his grandmother’s house and had entered her backyard when a black SUV pulled up in front of the house.
