On August 16, 2013, Alford Carl Tillmon II, a 36-year-old man, was killed in a shooting incident on Jacksonville's Northside. The shooting also left a 23-year-old woman in critical condition. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire and found two victims at the scene.
