Levertis Walter Fowler, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on December 2, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. Fowler was found dead alongside 19-year-old Trenton Hollis Thomas, another African American male, in the 1500 block of West 36th Street. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired just before 5:30 p.m. and discovered Fowler's body on the sidewalk near a Moncrief Park apartment complex.
