Mikel Stewart, age 19, was killed on January 3, 2016, during a house party in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred in Arlington, at around 2 a.m., when shots were fired, resulting in Mikel's death. He was a former football player for First Coast High School and had recently been attending Alabama State University but returned home for the holidays.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office detained 15 people from the party, but no suspects have been officially identified.
The authorities continue to request any information that might help solve this case.
