On September 18, 2023, Devon D. Davis, a 33-year-old resident of Bolingbrook, Illinois, was found shot in a home located in the 300 block of Walnut Circle. The incident occurred in the afternoon, with police being called to the scene shortly before 2 p.m. for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found Devon Davis injured and he was subsequently taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
