Sian Carter, a 20-year-old resident of Bolingbrook, Illinois, was fatally shot on the evening of May 27, 2023. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Rebecca Lane, where Carter was attending an invite-only graduation party with his girlfriend, Khia Williams. Although they were unable to enter the party, they remained outside with other guests.
