Thomas was in a vehicle with his brother, Terrence Thomas, 32, when a blue SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots at them.
Tramon Thomas suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His brother, Terrence, was also shot, sustaining injuries to the left leg and torso, and remained in critical condition at Stroger Hospital.

His mother, Shirelle Shaw, and father, Terrance Thomas Sr., expressed their grief and frustration, emphasizing that their sons were simply trying to make a living and did not deserve such a fate. As of the current date, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The police are still investigating the incident, and a $2,000 reward has been offered for information that could help identify the perpetrators.
