Christian Childs, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 15, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the West Englewood neighborhood, where Christian was inside a car near the 1300 block of West 59th Street. Around 4:05 p.m., three suspects exited a dark-colored SUV and opened fire, striking Christian in the head and arm. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
