Jeraun A. McRae, a 39-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on the evening of March 16, 2018, in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. on the 5400 block of South Cornell Avenue. McRae was found lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds to his head, chest, and leg.
