On November 19, 2023, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Laine Huff, a 38-year-old resident of Homer Glen, Illinois, was killed in an apparent murder-suicide incident at her home. The incident involved her husband, Michael Huff, a police sergeant with the Glendale Heights Police Department, who also took his own life.
