In the autumn of 2004, a young girl named Jocelyn Emilia Turcios, just three years old, disappeared from Franklin, Tennessee. She was a Hispanic female with brown hair and green eyes. The last confirmed sighting of Jocelyn was on October 15, 2004. At the time of her disappearance, she was approximately 3 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 40 pounds. Her case is one of a loving father left to wonder about the fate of his child, as the circumstances surrounding her vanishing point to a painful family conflict. The primary suspect in Jocelyn's disappearance is her non-custodial mother, Sandra Emilia Gutierrez. Authorities allege that Sandra abducted her daughter in the midst of a custody dispute. A court order was in place to grant custody of Jocelyn to her father. In the months following Jocelyn's disappearance, law enforcement officials took action, and on February 5, 2005, a felony warrant was issued for Sandra Gutierrez for custodial interference. Investigators believe that Sandra may have taken Jocelyn to Mexico, specifically to the Tampico area. It is also thought that Jocelyn may be using her mother's last name, Gutierrez. Over the years, the search for Jocelyn has continued, with law enforcement agencies, including the Franklin Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, remaining committed to the case. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has created age-progressed photos to show what Jocelyn might look like as she has grown older, in the hope that someone might recognize her. Despite these ongoing efforts, Jocelyn's whereabouts remain unknown.
