The last confirmed sighting of Jocelyn was on October 15, 2004. At the time of her disappearance, she was approximately 3 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 40 pounds.

The primary suspect in Jocelyn's disappearance is her non-custodial mother, Sandra Emilia Gutierrez. Authorities allege that Sandra abducted her daughter in the midst of a custody dispute.
