Gustavo Suarez, a 27-year-old man from Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot in the early hours of March 17, 2024. The incident occurred in an alley in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood, specifically at the 5200-block of South Central Avenue near 52nd Street, just a few blocks from Midway Airport.
