Yarnell Hicks, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 3, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Yarnell Hicks was in a vehicle with two other individuals when an unknown assailant opened fire on them around 2:25 p.m. in the 600 block of South Kostner Avenue.
