Isaiah Armstrong, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 18, 2020, in the South Chicago neighborhood. He was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head around 5:40 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Escanaba Avenue. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed his identity and ruled his death a homicide following an autopsy conducted the next day. Isaiah Armstrong was a resident of the Calumet Heights area of Chicago.
