Darryl Hill, a 43-year-old man from Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot on August 17, 2024, on the city's West Side. The incident occurred in the 0-100 block of South Lavergne Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. According to the police, an armed offender approached Hill and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene.
