On April 2, 2014, Wilneka S. Pennyman, age 19, was killed in a drive-by shooting in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. outside a residence in the 100 block of Northeast 63rd Street. Pennyman was shot while attempting to flee, collapsing nearby.
