Deshon DuBose

Murdered

On January 21, 2023, 13-year-old Deshon DuBose was fatally shot in southwest Atlanta. The incident occurred near the Cascade Family Skating rink, located at 3351 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Atlanta police officers responded to a call around 11:24 p.m. and found DuBose on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Grady Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, although he did not succumb to his injuries until January 24, 2023.
