On a Thanksgiving evening in Atlanta, Georgia, the life of 20-year-old Aracna Nashard 'AJ' Copeland was tragically cut short. On November 26, 2020, in a parking lot on Hardee Street, the young African American man was found with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. Despite immediate efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the shooting. Copeland, known affectionately as AJ to his friends and family, was born in Atlanta on February 4, 2000.
