In a tragic turn of events on the night of January 22, 2016, 27-year-old Anthony Chalmers was shot and killed in his Atlanta, Georgia apartment. The incident, which unfolded at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Lanier Street NW, was initially investigated as a potential home robbery. Police arrived to find a grim scene, with Chalmers deceased on his kitchen floor from multiple gunshot wounds.
