Wiley “Lee” Jackson, a 63-year-old resident of Columbus, Georgia, died on February 17, 2023, as a result of a violent incident.
Jackson was found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds when police officers responded to a call at 3:50 a.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Ewart Avenue and Forsyth Street in Columbus. Despite the efforts of medics, Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:45 a.m., according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
