In the late winter of 2021, the life of 28-year-old Jacobee Matthews was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. On the evening of February 4th, Matthews was on Ft. Benning Road when he was struck by a bullet. For more than three weeks, he fought for his life, a testament to his will to survive. However, the severity of his injuries proved to be too great, and on February 27, 2021, he succumbed to the gunshot wound that had been inflicted upon him.
