In a quiet Lawrenceville, Georgia, neighborhood, the life of a 25-year-old woman, Neiana Nee Ransome, was tragically cut short in what authorities believe was an act of domestic violence. On Sunday, March 26, 2023, Gwinnett County police officers responded to a call of a person shot at a residence on Lake Washington Circle. Upon their arrival, they made a grim discovery in the basement of the home: the body of Neiana Ransome, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
