In May of 2023, the life of 40-year-old Shatieka Floyd, a female from the Atlanta, Georgia area, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter. On the evening of Thursday, May 18th, Clayton County police responded to a call of a person shot on Valley Hill Road in Jonesboro. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ms. Floyd inside her still-running vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
